It gives us great pleasure to share with you that our daughter, Ava Beth Lewis, was born on Monday morning March 5th at 7:53 AM. She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and is 18 inches tall. Ava is adjusting well to life on the outside – she is taking in her surroundings and enjoys around-the-clock cuddling with her family.
Maya was very excited to meet her new little sister. She said, “aaawwwww….she’s sooooooo cute!” and then sang her Happy Birthday. Maya is going to be a great big sister.
Sharon is doing well and recovering from her C-section. The cuddles help get her from dose to dose of pain meds. If all goes well, we expect to be at the hospital until Friday.
